I am writing this when I am 24, and I have to say without shame that there are some things that my being hasn't risen to fully fathom or grasp (like certain books, movies etc.) and one of it is this Ted Talk, and I plan to come back to this Ted talk, time and again, till I can fully fathom every word this man says. All I can I say is that I am enamoured by his eyes and everything it tries to convey. Till then I hope, I appreciate the smallest things in life that makes my life so fulfilling and stay grateful for everything I have. Good day to you ❤
I like it
If we really want peace at the end of life, what really matters is that we have already accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior Who died to pay for our sins to give us eternal life with Him, by believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, BEFORE we die. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is relevant today and always for those who have not heard it yet and for all of us. May God open spiritual eyes and ears to the truth , salvation and eternal life that only comes from Jesus Christ our Savior. Glory to God!
The Gospel (the Good News) of Jesus Christ our Savior
Jesus Christ came down here from heaven (God on earth) and He was born one of us, and He dwelt among us for over three decades, and He gave us His perfect sinless life, by dying on the cross and resurrecting from the dead three days later, to pay for and to save us from our sins, to reconcile us sinners with God, and to give us eternal life with Him, and after He resurrected from the dead, He lived on earth for forty more days, then He ascended back up into heaven and He is coming back again at the end of this world and everyone will see Him and be judged by Him.
There is no condemnation for sins for those who regret their sins and have been spiritually born again, by accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior Who died to save them from their sins to give them eternal life. God is the Father the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit all at once always. HE is the One True Living God of all creation. Read the Holy Bible. Be a doer of the Word. Glory to God!.
This guy speaks perfectly what life and death is all about
Beautiful
U have beautifull sweater
Psychedelics are glimpse to the great beyond.
WOW❤️
He is the best narrator. He helps you understand exactly what he is talking about. If focus deep enough you realise that the light reflecting from his eyes makes him look like he is tearing, which makes the story to be even more touching…
Beautiful.
Comparing him to what I have at home (or don't have) is illuminating. There is more out there.
He doesn’t look healthy. Not sure if his limbs can effect his look on the face but his kinda yellowish and with super shiny eyes.
P O W E R F U L …. *
This is just beautiful
What really matters at then end of life is how much you've been a winner. After all, this world would already be destroyed if no one strived to be a winner. No megalomaniacs? No world.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16, NASB)
What do you think of the American Beauty hypothesis that at the end of our lives our sense of time stops so in a timeless, and therefore eternal, instant our whole lives are spread out for us to see? If time is "emergent" that is to say something created by our minds, then when our minds stops, it seems not all that implausible. Conversely, Heraclitus may bave argued, perhaps the experience that I am having now might alternatively be my death ( 64 is what we waking. What we in sleep is a . )
Every word is so true. Thank you <3
I just wonder who are the ones that disliked this video…Some people are really dangerous…
I generally love TED Talks… Then I came across a classic Mr. Bean Episode + switched to that. @ least i knew what was going on… No disrespect intended!
Hey Ted. Dude. Your dead. Think about it.
I get you – worked many years in Palliative Care, also met many wonderful human beings because of it… your passion is
palpable x
Wow! If you do not feel something from that's word .. you are frozen!!
Thank from a private! Terminal care giver!
He is an accomplished soul. No doubt. The deep & profound thoughts that he expressed are beyond belief. Absolutely remarkable.
Wowwww !
its all about the human experience now, its what's important. humans are more important that we should account for it as we design stuff, even the experience of dying. great topic. didn't thought design extends broadly that it includes the dying experience.
The scared flare gratifyingly dam because collision genomically applaud to a rhetorical kick. cut, adventurous insurance
I had my heart broken and almost did the unimaginable. Listening to your talk made me realize just how beautiful life could still be after a relationship of 7 years has ended.
Thank you so much
Meaningful talk. Inspiring. Only someone that has suffered greatly could have given this talk.
What a great message. We are indeed failing those at the end of life.
Grand circle of truth. New paradigm to focus upon : Work together without contest. Near impossible, as its taught in schools, practiced on stage, on media, even in your head. Why does it take tragedy to wake the inside ?
